as well as helping those that find us, we reach out to those that need us:

We run a number of outreach activities to engage with young people who do not seek counselling but may need it. For example, currently:

• We run pizza and problem-solving groups in Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Borehamwood and South Oxhey in partnership with Herts County Council’s Families First project
• Dacorum Borough Council are funding us to work alongside M-ASK, a youth arts project which is targeted at vulnerable, disengaged young people
• We have worked in partnership with a GP surgery and a secondary school in Tring to set up a satellite service to serve the young people of that community
• In Spring 2017 we received CAMHS innovation funding to reach out to the young Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community
• In 2016, in partnership with Dacorum Emergency Night Shelter we delivered support to young residents at The Elms Hostel who are preparing to move on from DENS’ homeless support

If you have any suggestions or ideas to develop our reach, both geographically or socially, please do contact us.
